HOPE Farm continues to be a positive light in the lives of our single moms and their sons in areas of our city known for crime and gang activity. We turn on the news and see horrific images of violence, disrespect, unjust death, and a constant cry for change. Working hard on three different campuses in the Metroplex, HOPE Farm is part of the positive change that is happening in this country. Our seemingly small numbers are our biggest strength mainly because we intentionally get to know our families and go deep with them year after year after year.
Our program staff has worked hard over the years and especially hard in the nine months following the unprecedented shut down of our country. We are proud that our boys graduate from high school and, in the last 6 years, 97% of these graduates have gone to college—we currently have 12 alumni studying in college, 12 who are working full time, and 2 who are serving in the military (see the list below). We are proud to have a reading literacy program that shows 89% of our boys increasing their reading levels by 1.8+ years or more in less than 1 school year (2019-2020). We are proud of a program staff who works with the kids in the areas of spirit, mind, and body providing academic, athletic, and Biblical guidance. Be the change with us in a positive uplifting way building each other up!
