Sylvia Granville

Sanitation Engineer

Hometown:  I call Fort Worth home, but I was born in Trinidad, but grew up in the US Virgin Islands (St. Croix) for most of my life.

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Services from Ashford University; and an Associates of Applied Science in Business Administration/MGMT from Kaplan University.

Career: Dept. of Public Works – DBE Program, 8 yrs;  Tarrant County Sheriff’s Dept, 4 yrs; CSC (FBI – Confidential) 3 yrs

Why is HOPE Farm important to me?  Like so many others, I could be doing other things, but I believe this is where God wants me. So instead of running from God’s demands, I chose to be obedient to the word & voice of God. Hope Farm’s purpose is unique and needed, and just the fact that I get to be a part of what we do is a Blessing in itself!!

Something most people don’t know about me:  I’m an advisor/coach, I love to cook, and iron, when I’m in the mood!
